The company was founded in 2018 by Deviyani Jamindar and Nirali Pandya, who are committed to sustainability, quality, and ethical sourcing while promoting the benefits of natural living. History Akshar Herbs and Spices was created by Deviyani Jamindar, a retired officer from the New York Fire Department, and her niece, Nirali Pandya, an experienced auditor of ofarms. Their vision was to deliver high-quality products while supporting Uganda's small producers. Partnering with local farmers in Uganda, they have formed long-lasting relationships and provided resources and training to enhance agricultural practices.
